Breasts are one of the most controversial body parts on a body. 

They’re too big, they’re too small, don’t show them, don’t breastfeed in public, they are sought after, yet seen as disgusting, the list is endless with the mixed message we get about our breasts. 

Let’s take a moment to think about when we engage with our breasts. Either being sexualized by a partner, sometimes for our own physical pleasure, breastfeeding a child, being milked, being physically examined by a doctor, or squished in a mammogram machine. 

It is incredibly rare that we hold this part of our body with such love. That we hold them in their beauty, letting them just be simply beautiful and loving. 

Because the thing is, is our breasts are our heart on the outside. And the size, shape, or form, has nothing to do with the divinity of them. They are a sacred part of us. Whether we were born male, female, or intersex, we all have them! 

They hold sacred energy that we pass by every day we ignore them. Regardless of how we feel about them they are a part of our body that we neglect until they are being milked or diagnosed with something awful. 

A very common experience is to want to change our breasts. Remove them altogether or to make them smaller or larger. We look on to others with jealously and they look on to others wishing they had different breasts. 

Regardless of how we feel about them on ourselves, what would happen if we made time to send them some love? Blow them kisses once a day? Breast massage once a week, a month even! 

Breast massage is always a very powerful practice when I teach it. I always get countless feedback talking about how even practicing it once can absolutely changes their whole relationship to them. “I’ve never touched my breasts in this way, I finally feel so much love for them”
