A recently viral video of mine proved that we have a huge gap in information when it comes to yoni hygiene.
So I invite you to check out my video below, reply with any questions, and let me know what you think!

Take my advice with a grain of salt of what works for you! Answers to some of the popular questions:
Q: Where should the coconut oil go?
A: You can put it outside and inside a little, IF you do not react to it.
Coconut oil is NOT good as lube.
Other oils should only be on the outside.
Q: What kind of coconut oil?
A: Preferably organic, but any PURE coconut oil will do with NO additives.
Pro-tip: Coconut oil usually comes in a big container, put some in a small glass jar and keep it in the washroom and refill as needed so you aren't double dipping and cross contaminating.
Q: Can men really pass BV even if my doctor swears otherwise?
A: Remember that doctors have very strict regulations of how they can advise for liability reasons, so even if they see many patients suspecting the same thing over and over, since the only medical study was inconclusive that men can contract and pass BV, they cannot advise you.
Yet... the amount of women I have heard who stop having BV when they break up with that partner is too many to count! So if you are having reoccurring problems, you need to get your partner treatment as well. Whatever you need to do to make it happen. Otherwise you will keep passing it back and forth like a never ending tennis match from hell.
Q: How do we wash?
A: The vagina is a self-cleaning entity. You do NOT want to douche or put anything up there. You don't even need to put water up there ever. The coconut oil I find is nice to put up there and outside, kills bacteria, and can balance ph. Some react to it and don't like it, which is fine if it doesn't work for you! You can try almond or castor oil outside instead, or nothing!
Washing outside you want to use UNSCENTED soap or just water. You shouldn't be using scented soap on your body in general, but I know people are addicted to smells so get a separate unscented high quality wash for your vulva if you need to.
Q: What should it smell like?
A: We all have a natural scent, and we should have some scent. If it smells like fish - it is BV, if it smells like yeast/bread - it is yeast infection, and if it smells strong and "off" it could be something else - especially if it has extra and odd discharge - you will want to goto your doctor. Many are scared of their smell and are trained to hate it, the coconut oil might help in this case. But learning to love our vagina is a very important part of reclaiming the power there! The smell should not be overpowering but a light body smell.
Remember you have pheromones down there, have you ever loved the smell of a partner or other human? It is a natural way our bodies attract others, and I can guarantee there are other humans out there who LOVE your smell!💋
